Why use dot grid paper
Dots mark the grid without drawing lines, so they guide your hand but almost disappear once you write or draw on top. That is why bullet journalers love it.
- Bullet journals, planners and trackers.
- Hand lettering and calligraphy practice.
- UI wireframes and diagrams.
- Geometric drawing and patterns.
- Dots and boxes.
Which spacing to choose
5 mm is the standard in dot grid notebooks. For large handwriting or kids, try 7 mm or 1/4 inch. Below 2 mm the dots crowd together, so the generator starts there.
